Known for its understated elegance and simplicity
Cafe Central, Innovative Taste with over 90 years of traditions
Café Central opened in 1918 in Juarez, Mexico, electrifying a clientele of gamblers and cabaret-goers who quickly grew to expect the finest culinary experience in the region at this chic night spot.
After Prohibition ended, Café Central migrated closer to the border, and finally crossed into downtown El Paso. It became known as Miguel's Central Café, known as a uniquely El Paso dining experience.
By 2008, Alejandro and Eduardo Orozco, well known restaurateurs, took over the ownership of the restaurant. Café Central's charm and elegant ambiance is still one of its favorite characteristics making the restaurant among the favorites of the city and travelers.
